Actually she was pretty chill about it, haha. There was another guy in class who did a painting of a dissection he was doing (presumably in a biology or medical class, and I think it was cow?). Close up of the body cavity and the heart inside. So my painting definitely isn't the weirdest she's seen, lol.

Thanks! I've kinda settled on calling it Ouroboros. I think it fits the whole life from death, cyclical theme of the painting.

No matter king or street sweeper, we all end up the same in the circle of life, though I'll grant you that most men don't end up with a rusty dagger stuck in their bodily remains rotting in a field.

Good names, though I do feel like they focus entirely on the death part of the painting and don't really address the rebirth/life from death aspect.
