Absolutely beautiful! I really like the shade of green you got and it all just comes together so nicely. Stunning job!

Wow, just wow. Wanna do mine? Hahah, idk man, I've got 2 young kids and a full-time job that keeps me really busy! On the other hand, I've really enjoyed this project so far and if the money is right I might honestly consider it... All that said, I'd like to finish constructing a proper scabbard for this sword first. The one it came with leaves quite a bit to be desired. A few other misc things to note about the sword: - I haven't been able to do any cutting with the re-finished hilt yet (still waiting for thumb injury to heal), but just from swinging it I can tell that I've alleviated my main issue with the stock grip: that the short width of it caused the blade to roll in my hand unless I purposely overcorrected and tightened up midway through the swing. In theory that ought to help a ton with edge alignment.
- The point of balance with the new hardware and grip extended ever so slightly from 3 1/2" to 3 3/4". I haven't been able to compare the weight, but just from handling I'd say the new printed armory crossguard is slightly more heavy than the stock one, while the new pommel is slightly lighter (The one it came with is deceptively hefty) - The cross and star on the embossed grip actually have some significance: The 'X' is my own interpretation of my family's 'Hauszeichen', dating back to 15th century Lucerne in Switzerland: There is actually a stained glass window in the town hall of Gersau showing Swiss soldiers bearing the family hauszeichen marching off to the Burgundian wars- so it made perfect sense to incorporate it into a weapon like the Swiss Saber. That said, I'm many generations removed from the European wing of my family, and due to the hauszeichen somewhat resembling another infamous 'X' symbol from WWII Germany (despite predating it by centuries), I thought it best to design my own take on the family crest, which you can see in my forum icon.
The star on the other hand has a much more simple meaning! It stands for Minnesota, the North Star State, where I was born and raised.

Your sword is looking awesome man! Anyone know where to find cross guards and pommels? Im thinking about modifying my nodachi (90cm blade) to a more swiss saber kind of look

Fantastic project! She's a real beauty. Did you modify the tip of the blade by any chance? It looks pointier than the standard Ronin Katana blade, also is the false edge sharpened? I am eyeing this euro sabre blade on KoA but it seems like the swiss complex guard is gone from Ramble tree and the new website Getswrods.com doesn't have it either... besides I have too many other projects i need to finish first.

This project came out awesome. Apologies if people are having a hard time tracking down the Printed Armoury parts. I handed the remaining stock off to Buyswords.com several months ago. It was an extremely time-consuming product to manage accurate listings on an online store, due to many variations, variables, stock inconsistencies, etc. You might try contacting Buyswords directly, and just asking if they have a specific part. It may be easier for them to just go physically look for it.
This is pure speculation - but they may simply be waiting for an actual restock from the foundry of consistent parts, before going through all the work of listing a bunch of inconsistent parts on their store.
