Great stuff Sonny! Its so cool to see these swords available and ready to ship - I've got my order in for one. And of course, you can pick them up at the lowest price allowable with FREE shipping in the US from the SBG Sword Store right here: sbg-sword-store.sword-buyers-guide.com/valiant-armoury.htmlSo if you've been waiting like me, now is definitely the time to snatch one up! If the Practical line are any indication, they'll be selling like hotcakes at Easter time...! Enjoy! - Paul

Why is the belt black and not brown? I am not sure I like the look of this!

JPFranco, At this years Shot Show Christian and I discussed this and opted for the Black belt. We thought it contrasted the Oxblood Scabbard well. However, if you would like to brown belt instead it is a simple matter. Just let us know, we can dye the belt brown instead.

I like the contrast between the colors. Very nice sword in general. I prefer straight guards but it's nice. But I wait for the Kriegschwert. ;D Will there be a possibility of ordering these swords with peened construction maybe???

Looks like a really sweet type Xa. I love the hilt. If only I could get a single-handed Kreigschwert.... Looks like you've got a grand line of products now. I'm glad for you Sonny, VA is turning around their reputation FAST.

I'm really impressed. What a handsome sword. And the tang and furniture look the goods. I'm glad to see you ditched the welds. Bravo! +1
What are the retail prices?
And finally - Is this the same VA that produced those old clunker models? Did you buy the company a couple of years ago Sonny? Have the puny tangs, obese blades and what not from the old models all been spruced up as well?

It is a differant forge than the original VA swords. The Actium MSRP $479.99, The Bristol MSRP $479.99, The Castile MSRP $479.99, and The Kriegschwert MSRP $499.99. The signature swords are a great improvement from the original VA line. Oh... don't tell anyone but I hear there is more special products to come from Valiant Armoury.

OK, ............ my Castile arrived today! What a beauty, I could not be more pleased. It is a beast of a blade, and the scabbard is really nice. I don't think you can beat this for the money. I will try and post some photos when I can, unfortunately my digital camera is not all that good. OK, a couple photos...... sorry about the quality.

I just wanted to add a big thank you to the guys there at Swordnation, and especially Richard. I had a number of contacts with Richard and he was always very helpful and accomodating. This was my first purchase from Swordnation, but I doubt it will be my last. Great folks to deal with.
