Hello all. I was looking for assistance in identifying this item. It was part of a lot and I'm trying to sell it; which can be hard if you don't have a name for it! I've done a Google Image search, but did not find something similar. Thanks for any help. Attachments:

Looks like a fantasy wall-hanger concoction.

Looks like a fantasy wall-hanger concoction. HAHA! You were way nicer than me. I was going to post when I first saw this. Couldn’t think of a way without lots of bad language and laughing. So I didn’t comment because I didn’t want OP to think it was directed at him instead of that monstrosity, ah, concoction. 😏

I have to admit the point of chaining two swords together is lost on me.

It’s like nun chucks but instead of just hitting you in the nads they cut them off.

I have to admit the point of chaining two swords together is lost on me. Cannucks do this in winter to keep children from losing their mittens. String goes up one arm, through the coat, down the other arm and out the sleeve. Presto, bango, cant drop yer mitts if theyre strung to ya. "Idiot strings" we called then when mom used to force them on us.

His dad taught him to do the same thing when walking on the frozen lake except he use heavier cord and would put large nails/spikes at the end. Think common nail but about 8 or so inches. If you fall through the ice your hands and ice are wet and you can’t pull yourself out. You use the spikes to get purchase. Funny for mittens/gloves, life saving in this case.

Interestingly enough, there's evidence that medieval knights sometimes would attach their weapons to their armor via chains.

Oh yes, a very important piece of winter kit! EDC when venturing out on the ice. There are a few variations but theyre all the same principle.

Then, you see it...at first the being appears as a child, winter coat, woolen hat, scarf obscuring its face. It is armed only with a krazy-karpet wrapped in one mittened fist. You gaze in horror as a loop of string falls from its sleeve. This creature is no child..."

Thanks everyone for the replies. Yes, definitely a fantasy weapon of some sort, got it in a lot of anime swords. I just thought it may be based on a actual weapon, something with a name! For some reason, no one wants to buy a chained-together curved metal thingy!
