Hello, I'm new to this forum so bare with me. This is my Grandfather's sword. I think it's ER VII so between 1901-1910 and possibly infantry. What I need to know is the make and if it's ceremonial or not. It appears to have never been used as the blade us very clean. That's why I thought it maybe a dress sword not combat. the serial number on blade is 15563. Can't find the two maker's marks anywhere. Thank you in advance.

Nice sword. Was your grandfather a British army officer or did he collect the sword?

Thanks a bunch edelweiss and Lord Newport. I thought it might be a dress duty sword as it was so clean. My grandfather was in the British army, but I don't know if was an officer or not. He died a while back and my mom found it in the attic. Think I'll keep it for a while. Thanks again.
