Hanwei Tonbo Daisho
Wakizashi tsuka, 6.25" - Nagasa, 20"
Katana tsuka, 12.5" - Nagasa, 28.5"
The koshirae on this daisho, besides the menuki, are of wonderful quality. Features genuine silk ito, sageo and geometric yokote. Polish is in excellent shape with no signs of rust or scratches. These swords have just been sitting on my wall, except for testing how they feel in the hand. I have never cut with either of them.
The katana is stout and has a fairly hefty presence in the swing, with the classic Hanwei axe handle feeling tsuka. Saya has some rattle present but good retention. (I'll fix the rattle for you if you wish)
The wakizashi is light and fast with a much thinner blade. The tsuka has a rikko shape to it and features above average samegawa nodes on the omote side. No saya rattle present and with good retention.

Custom Hanbon Forge Katana
Tsuka - 10.75", Nagasa - 27.5"
Completely custom 1095 katana in unokubi geometry and nami motif. Green Japanese silk ito and sageo sourced from Namikawa. Fuchi-kashira from Sofecoke which has been silver plated. Habaki and blade are from Hanbon. The habaki and seppa have also been silver plated. The tsuba is from a remounted Huawei katana. Tsukamaki was done by Student of War customs.
Saya features a partial samegawa wrap with buffalo horn koiguchi, kojiri and kurigata. Slight rattle is present. There are some nicks in the saya which have been pictured. The retention of the blade is not tight. I can shim this for you for no extra charge. Ito is tight.
Everything else is solid and tight. Not much niku on the blade, but for an unokubi that is not uncommon. Should make an excellent light cutter. Never used for cutting.

The ito is very tight.
Saya features a partial rattan wrap and buffalo horn koiguchi, kojiri and kurigata. The lacquer work over the rattan wrap is not perfect. Also has some nicks in the lacquer which are pictured. Retention of the blade is good with no rattle.

Custom Swords of Northshire Katana
Tsuka - 10.75", Nagasa - 27.5"
Completely custom T10 katana from Swords of Northshire (Ryansword) in Shinogi-Zukuri geometry. Fuchi-kashira came with the original koshirae. Tsuba is a cast piece from a Japanese seller on ebay. Japanese wine red silk ito sourced from Namikawa. Sageo is cotton, also from Namikawa. Tsukamaki by Student of War customs. Habaki is a solid copper piece which has been shaped to fit into the bohi.
The blade features a bohi and geometric yokote. It was hybrid polished by yours truly. It should be a light-medium target cutter and has fairly heavy niku. It's never been used for cutting.

Z-sey Nagamaki-Zukuri
Tsuka - 10.5", Nagasa - 27.5"
Z-sey crucible steel "nagamaki-zukuri" katana in sakura motif. It's more of an unokubi-zukuri, but Z-sey calls it nagamaki for some reason.
Features Japanese silk wine red ito and a synthetic silk sageo from Namikawa.
The blade features Z-sey's sashikomi A+ polish which is extremely beautiful and shows the grain of the steel very well. The large O-kissaki does not feature a geometric yokote which is common on unokubi geometry. The blade is very wide and does not have much niku. It should make an excellent light cutter. It has not been used for cutting.
Saya retention is excellent and I failed to find any flaws in the lacquer, which is a matte black. A little rattle is present in the saya. Features buffalo horn koiguchi, kojiri and kurigata.
The habaki is of a two-piece construction and is very well executed. I did not take pictures of the nakago, but it has been filed in a more traditional way which is a common feature of Z-sey.

Custom Shinken-sword Katana
Tsuka - 10.75", Nagasa - Almost 28"
Shinogi-zukuri geometry with all custom koshirae. The blade is from Shinken of swords which is T10. Features an extremely beautiful polish from factory. Has some niku and would make an excellent light-medium target cutter. It has not been used for cutting.
Tsuka and saya are from Z-sey. The ito is Japanese silk and sageo is synthetic silk from Namikawa. The habaki is a copper piece from Sofecoke, which matches the copper seppa. The tsuba is a completely handmade piece from Citadel.
The nakago had to be filed down a bit to fit the Z-sey tsuka, which has also been hammered on the nakago. This caused some deformation of the kashira, which I attempted to picture. It doesn't seem to affect the functionality at all.
The saya retention is good with no rattle. This saya has a crack which I pictured. Features buffalo horn koiguchi, kojiri and kurigata.

JKOO / Sinosword Ghost of Tsushima Replica
Tsuka - 10.5", Nagasa - 28"
Shinogi-Zukuri 1095 DH blade with Sinosword's cosmetic polish. Features cotton ito which has discolored from minimal handling. The balance is quite nice, probably due to the overly thick tsuba. The GoT symbol on the saya is in the incorrect location on the ura side. Has a lower quality cotton sageo. The kojiri is a full metal piece and quite heavy. Saya retention of the blade is excellent with no rattle. Should make a good light-medium target cutter. Has not been used for cutting.

Features Sinosword's variation of a cosmetic polish. The blade is extremely sharp with little niku. Has a geometric yokote which is not typically seen on unokubi geometry. This is a very nimble sword and should make an excellent light cutter.
The saya has a blue sparkle lacquer with a partial rattan wrap. Features buffalo horn koiguchi, kojiri and kurigata. Blade retention is excellent with no rattle.
