Please forgive me, but I have started watching the You Tube channels of two former mafioso. One is Michael Franzese who had been a caporegime with the Columbo family and the other is none other than Sammy "The Bull" Gravano. For those who do not know him, he was the underboss of the Gambino Family when John Gotti took over after murdering Big Paul Castellano in 1985. I really like the information, insights and experiences that both share. Michael Franzese even does a mafia movie review and talks with other former mafioso and has even had Joe Pistone on two of his episodes of his segments that he calls Sitdowns. I had been watching the Gotti shortly before the Castellano hit because if his flamboyant and cavalier attitude towards the FBI and law enforcement in general. I was only eleven when Gotti took over. That makes it weird because all other events did not interest me as much back then.

Yeah Michael Franzese is a legend in the mafia world, his father is too, the guy scammed the government out of so much money with so little effort it's not even funny. He's so lucky he only got so little time, everyone else around him got life sentences, he nearly got life but got out just in time. His father though wasn't so lucky he served a full fifty starting at mid age I think, he amazingly got out but died shortly afterward. He is known for speaking on how greatly bad that life is.

Well, the key witness against Michael Franzese on the racketeering beef got destroyed by the defence attorney. So rather than use him on the gas tax scam, they gave Michael Franzese a deal. Wisely he took it. I watched a video with Michael and Giuliani hosted by Joe "Pags" and those two got along great and even talked about getting together in person as a possibility. His dad died last year at 103 years old. I think that he holds the record for the oldest gangster to have ever lived. In a world where half of the people die before forty-five, I would say that reaching Michael's age is quite a feat. I have also been watching Salvatore "Sammy the Bull" Gravano. He has a podcast titled Our Thing. He talks about his time in Cosa Nostra. There are nine episodes to season one and six episodes, so far, of season two.
