So last night I was putting one of my swords back in the rack when it slipped out of my hand some and stabbed the leather grip on my VA Harwich a tad. Not much of a handy man so I was wondering if there was a fairly simple remedy or not to fill it in without damaging the leather. If not, I can live with it, just kind of kicking my self for being a little careless.

I’d just hit it with a sharpie to hide the white cord and call it a day.

After the sharpie you might want to put a little super glue in the hole to keep it from spreading. Then hit the glue with the sharpie.

Thanks guys, I did think about a blue sharpie but I thought to myself, "nah, can't be that simple can it?"
Thanks again!

Just got home from work and picked up a blue sharpie. I think it looks good for such a simple fix. dabbed just the slightest amount of glue over per your recommendation and I don't think any tearing is going to be a problem. Thank you again all!

Nice! Looks much better. That little bit of shine on the glue will fade back with some handling too. You know, just in case you needed an excuse. 😉

Looks good. Glad our suggestions helped. And yeah, I agree with mrbadexample, you need to handle it more.
