One River Witham should arrive in a week or two to my local sword shop so I will go look at it and handle it a bit. I'm also interested in it.

Theres This:
Though it was an attrocious cut. If you pause it just before impact you can see the blade was way off line.

Yeah the blades at at least a 30 degree angle to the target. I can't help but wonder how it would perform in a good cut.

I dunno, it sure looks like the River Witham sword to me. Title even says it is.

It's my title. It's my clip. Yes, I am Harumba! Heres a freeze frame. If you compare it to the pics on KoA I can't find any point of difference. The guard, the blocky ricasso, the double fuller, the broad blade, the ferrules. I'd bet my vegetarian dinner that it's a CAS Witham. Though the TV show I got it from had no other footage of this sword. I was going to buy one of these when I bought my first functional sword, but opted for the Windlass Narnia instead. 3lb7oz is quite heavy for a single hander. But otherwise it's a good looking sword. And if you can secure a version of this built by Hanwei themselves I'd get it for that price. It's way cheaper than it would have cost me here in Aus. Bloody Aussie sword market grumble grumble... better off making my own grumble grumble... back to the workshop, grumble grumble...
