He doesn't know that.... he acts like a dog... Well brother, one thing is for sure, you are truly blessed to have what you have and those magnificent creatures. I would love to one day own a horse if nothing else based on the historical importance with our hobby. Dog and horses are IMHO the most noble of animals as they have been critical to the development and trajectory of humanity. They have been by our sides protecting, serving and loving us since the very beginning. Two of humanity's best gifts from God.

My condolences. Even if he could not be convinced, that is not on you. I'm sure he would not have wanted you to feel responsible for that. And even if there are some different views on the forum, we should come together in moments like these.
Again my sincere condolences.

Sorry to hear about your friend my man. Very sad.
I've also got a close friend who refuses to get vaccinated. Sometimes there's just no talking people out of what they think.

I feel for you lose, so sorry. Hazel will go down tomorrow for a shot which makes me very happy. When they started in earnest Saturday, because we finally got some, lines were everywhere some over a km. She says she expects to be in line 4-5 hours. UGH!!

I should have taken him to a hospital emergency room instead of just dropping off chicken soup! You are being far too hard on yourself. You surely know you can't force a patient into getting a vaccine, an ambulance, or an ER. If he didn't consent, they couldn't have taken him in. You did everything you could. Sometimes we can do everything right and still fail. I am sorry you have lost a dear friend. It is especially hard as he lived a life of public service. If we all, in our geographically different ways, work to educate our immediate friends and neighbors we can help prevent further loss of life. I can think of no better tribute for someone your friend.
