A not very exciting event, but nevertheless something that had to be done after the sabre had spend the better part of 6 years on the floor, together with a swarm of other TODO's. Also, there are quite a few TODO's still hidden in the racks somewhere too. The thought alone of having to dig them out is making me very tired. Like ,,BOOHOO''. Dang! This sempr!ni never ends. I made this post to show off some glamour shots, which should find their way into the collection thread. The posts in the collection thread should all have the same background. Why? Dunno. Must be some Polish - Prussian gene that acts up. So here are the images. And the link to the old thread about this very good sabre. The sword knot is a fantasy knot I made some time ago. It goes rather well with the sabre. Link: sbg-sword-forum.forums.net/thread/47380/bulgarian-cavalry-sabre-history-updateCheers.

A nice 20th century sabre and a great pile of stuff including the A&A bastard sword. I was kind of trying to take inventory today of the past few years and it is often the simple surprise of one not on the top of one's mind and how they became part of a family. I keep thinking I'm done and there is always just one more Cheers GC

That's a solid looking sword Uhlan. Thank you for sharing it with us (Plus I concur, the backgrounds should match when possible).
Your place looks to be a proper museum if the first photo is anything to go by.
