i want to learn how to make a bronze sword i need help i have made a wax model for the lost wax method but i don't know what to do next

iv watched them but i think the wax is too delicate for normal sand casting

i have been searching for months and i will certainly research mor but there are some things i have not been able to find out For instance, in a socket axe how do i get the socket i know it cant be done in sand casting and i don't know how to cast with clay

I did foundry work in cast silver and aluminum when I was younger than you but in the context of a classroom. Bear in mind that you can kill or maim yourself in a micro-second if you f**k up. See if you have a local vocational or high school that teaches foundry work. It might help tremendously.

I am well aware of the danger and have all the safety equipment I don't think we have a foundry class as i live in the middle of nowhere But that link was very helpful thank you

i have everything i need for the metallurgy except for one crucial part
i can't find a sand casting mold big enuf, i will make one as a last resort but i thought i should ask here first does anyone have any suggestions on where i can get one must be at least 3 feet long 1 foot wide and 6 in thick
