Hi everyone,
I've always had more of an interest in medieval/Renaissance arms and armour but through a friend I've started to take more of an interest in 17th Century stuff. But car antennae rapiers aren't my thing, I'm really looking for a decent cut and thrust sword. The Munich Town Guard is a bit stubby for my liking. I was looking at various Pappenheimers. Has anyone any experience with them in general terms?

I'm not a fan of the mortuary style or Scottish full baskets, either. The swept hilt look is what I'm angling toward. The Rheinfelden is very nice! I'll check out the CS Cavalier, too. Thanks, Andi. Much appreciated.

You're welcome. "Light bladed" was the wrong term for the Cavalier blade, it's still a rapier with some mass in the blade. It's just a bit lighter than a classic heavy rapier.

Up to 400 euro. But that's with import tax etc included so I'm looking at EU vendors, really.
