A kopis usually depicts an anthropomorphic image of a bird on the hilt and is found in Greece. A falcata depicts a horsehead and is found in Iberian Spain. Same thing, just a difference in animals and geography.
Half of my sword collection is so bad I'd call them fantasy pieces, lol. I've seen some truly excellently made semi-historically accurate swords here and on other sites and when I contacted the makers to ask if they will make me a more accurate sword...they say "no" as they don't want to be criticized online even if the customer asked for non-historically accurate materials and types of steel, like stainless. I have three stainless steel demo swords, nicely made and perfectly shaped, and they never need maintenance! All the rest need love and care...

shotokan: I'm willing to try anything. Don't get me wrong, pool noodles are fine but I am tired of cutting them honestly.

The Levin Lance: All jokes aside, I think you will like the beach mats better than the pool noodles at least.

The Levin Lance: Maybe with the shotgun situation it was birdshot?

shotokan: Oh yeh, typically if they come with rifle wounds it's from an ak47... we did have a lady come in several years ago with multiple point blank shotgun injuries. Still don't know how she survived.

The Levin Lance: Anything particularly nasty? Rifle rounds and such?

shotokan: lol not yet... tons of GSW's but no sword injuries.

The Levin Lance: Seen anything close to a sword wound in the ER?
