This is a design concept I was imagining. I imagine the balance to be similar to a smallsword or even a Jian (the shorter single handed kinds). I can imagine a tool like this being meant to be jammed under or around plate carriers to get to the organs  |

Budk makes a garbage decorative version. I have always thought a functional version would make an awesome custom project. I think Wakizashi dimensions would work best.

The Budk one shows it would look pretty good (minus the serrations preferably). Makes me wonder how hard it would be to take an APOC cutlass and add a KABAR guard, leather washers, and pommel.

There's is more of a katana. Mine is more along the lines of a short sword that might be more applicable in modern times (or maybe not but one can dream) I always wanted a functional version of that tho |

You know what that means. Going by the reviews I've seen its better than it sounds, and the manufacturer has a reputation for decent quality and consistency. That said I haven't tried one myself. |
