I am making a wooden long sword. Would it be stronger if i made it with a tang, sliding the hilt, handle, ad pommel over it, or would it be stronger if I made it in one solid piece?

One solid piece. But another thing you can do is slide the guard over the blade, and fit it with a rubber "habaki"

A solid piece should be stronger.

One piece will be physically stronger, but consider how you will do the guard, and what way you want the grain running. There's a reason modern practice swords, even the wood ones, use synthetic guards and rubber rings to hold them in place.
