Hello, im posting this in hope i get some help in identyfing atleast the brand of the sword. It was my grandfathers and i have no idea what it is since he never mentioned it. it has a logo of 2 letter B in a triangle separated by a hammer i think, its a bit rusty so i cant really see well. It could be WW2, we are in the balkan area. I dont think its worth much, but im interested in finding out atleast the maker so i can put in perspective where it comes from. The blade is long 37 cm, and 1 cm wide so its not a sword, more like a bigger knife. Attachments:

That is a bayonet, not a sword. I can tell you no more for sure but with a blade that long probably from the WWI area. Could be very early WWII but I think WWI more likely if not a little before. What material was used for the grips?

Welcome to the forum!
Hard to say for sure based on the condition and photos, but it resembles a VZ24 Mauser bayonet.
Can you get a sharper image of the makers mark and a few more pics of each side and spine?

Also, the length of the blade is 37cm or the overall length is 37cm? If it is the length of the blade, what is the overall length of the bayonet?

I would tend to agree. It is the length of the blade that has me scratching my head. Too long for a 24 too short for a 23?
