so I ordered a Magpul AFG in the 17th of August. It finally shipped last week. It was supposed to get here today, but of course arrived at the post office after the truck already left for it’s rounds so I have to wait another day...

Midway USA usually has Magpul products in stock, but sometimes certain colors are harder to get than others.

Funny you should mention it, I was looking for one too. After checking the LGSs I made the rounds on the internet's. Of course, you know what I found; zero, buptkiss,nada...
I don't know why it became a rare commodity all of a sudden but fortunately it's not integral to the operation of a rifle.
Maybe Magpul is throwing all of their production into mags. I see those around and without any price increase. That was not the case during the last run on guns & ammo. It would be interesting if they made that decision.

The Black M-Lok specific one, so I can attach it directly to my handguard without any additional rails.

Nice. It's the little things that keep me chomping at the bit the most. I've been waiting a week for a butt plate screw for my M1A fiberglass stock. Not a big deal, but I check the progress of the journey every day.

Never heard of these before. Not really spending on guns for awhile. Are these supposed to be ergonomically more comfortable than a front grip that is perpendicular to the stock? Or is it that at an angle it won’t catch on stuff like the other type? Thanks

Or is it that at an angle it won’t catch on stuff like the other type? Thanks It’s designed to force your hand into a 45 degree angle, which evenly distributes the weight across your wrist and arm as opposed to holding it flat or with a vertical grip which places the bulk of the strain on one part of your wrist and arm, or the opposite part. It makes front heavy rifles like mine more comfortable for prolonged shouldering but is largely a waste on shorter rifles.

Thanks Nerd. That’s what I thought. Looks more comfortable like you said.
