A relative brought this sword to the US from his Army duty in Viet Nam in the '60s. I would like to know if someone wants it...or how I can dispose of it. Definitely a dha or variation, several spellings depending on country. They are all over eBay. This one could go for $50-75 maybe a little more. Go over there and search ‘pre owned dha’ and you will get lots of examples and prices. Good luck.

Thai dha/daab for the tourist trade. Many Thai swords were sold as souvenirs to soldiers who served in Vietnam. If you want to sell it or give it away here for postage, you should post it in the Marketplace/Classifieds section. Otherwise, you can sell it on ebay, or try a local pawn shop or antique store. As others have said, these aren't valuable. But they're not worthless.
