For those of you who have never heard of Claudio Sobral, you really should look at his work. He’s considered to be one of the best bladesmiths of our time, and has won numerous awards at BLADE and featured on numerous magazines as well. I was lucky enough to get on his books (rarely opens them since he’s a “hot” maker), and after messaging back and forth, I settled on a 10” “fighter” made out of a 1095 core over SS cladded San Mai. The handle is made out of stabilized Maple, and pinned for safety. So, without further ado, here’s my new custom knife from Claudio! Thanks for looking!

How much is something like this?

I am going to guess $2000-$3000. Not too far off... his Damascus blades cost more than his San Mai blades.
