I really liked Boromir's sword as well. It was very practical for a warrior who also wielded a shield. Alas, he left his shield behind so we will never know if it would have helped against the arrows. I always wished my Arbedo had a scent-stopper pommel to be more like his sword.
Nice to see Sam's sword--although the picture of Sam is when he has Sting--face meet palm.
My favorite weapons and armor of the series though are of Rohan. They have such a cool style and a nice cohesive flavor to their weapons and armor. Eomer's sword looks great--I just wish they would use carbon steel!

I'm terrible at getting photos from my phone or camera online (otherwise I'd have more pictures of my swords and stuff here on the board). But maybe by Saturday I can get photos of my new Sword of Boromir alongside my other historically based Type XIV's. |

Congrats on all those that ordered a new Sword of Boromir! I still need to get around to doing that myself lol.
I read on another forum that some people were getting swords with an asymmetrical guard? Anyone here have that issue?

Are these two websites the same? I am interested in the Lord of the rings swords and they have different prices on each website. I heard BUDK bought UC

Always google specific swords/items your looking for. Right now I’m looking at something that BudK carries but amazon has it with free shipping making it cheaper overall. |

And I’m not sure if both sites have all the same UC products for sale at the same time. It’s similar to a lot of product sites. The brand site, think Cold Steel and others all have a msrp and sometimes a slightly lower ‘for sale’ price. But resellers have almost always have a lower price than that. Go to UC site, see what products they have/you want. The go to BudK and see their prices. Then google the products and see if it’s cheaper else where. Hope that helps. |
