I have a Masahiro red tiger, a Qama, and the sword of Auray. Out of those my favorite is the sword of auray, although I like the other two. Kinda corny thread, but out of the swords you own whats your favorite? The Auray is excellent... my favorite sword as well.

Absolutely, without a doubt, my single favorite sword is the SBG ATrim 1315 Gus did for the members here. Bill Tsafa tried to steal it today when he was leaving. I caught him walking through the house trying to hide it behind him, chanting a hypnotic message of "There's nothing in my haaannndddsss... My hands are empteeeeeee... You can see nothing behind my bodeeeeeeeey..." All while trying to get out the door with my "demon cutter baby, magic" sword. To quote Adam Sharp: "This sweet little sword just effortlessly cloves things in twane." All for only $300.

That is a beautiful sword Mike ! Glad that you were able to "save" it. There's just something about most Western swords that is very appealing. Unadorned, businesslike, serious...something a man would choose.

Ahhh i see theres a cheering section at this event... Hey, i focus on the "main course" when decided what i'm going to have for dinner,.... but when dinner comes with "complimentary desert", it just makes the whole meal a little bit sweeter!

Actually, I have no beef with natural hamon. It's those fake hamons I can live without.

No pics, but...
My Angus Trim "Little Tigress" tactical katana. Couldn't tell you exactly why I like it over my more traditionally mounted blades, but I just do.
This may change after the Kokoro Ichi arrives, of course.

My favorite sword that I own? The top one in this picture: Oh and a close number two is my copy of this one: Absolutely, without a doubt, my single favorite sword is the SBG ATrim 1315 Gus did for the members here. I can't decide a 'favourite' between: my Falchion and my Wallace Zweihander They lie at opposit ends of the spectrum, yet what I love about them both is the indestructible nature of them. Both are hefty and could cleave a cow. I know that I don't have to worry about durability with them. The falchion is more practical in size, and weight, and is my first pick when it's time to take the fronds off the cotton palm. If I had to choose a favourite, it's probably the Falchion, but I can't shake the emotion of the big girl.

I think I would have to take that Harring you did over the falchion, but spot on with the Wallace

Nice blades all around, friends. It's easy to pick my Albion Poitiers as my favorite for performance and sentimental reasons. In the sub $300 it gets more tricky. My KC Teutonic is my fav longer sword right now but that changes pretty regular. KC gladius is most favored shorter blade with the Gen2 pompeii a close second. Holy headache Batman! Hats Off to Ricwilly

I've previously posted my favorite sword that I have with me here in Guatemala - my 1907 Spanish Cavalry Sword. But my actual favorite sword I have left in the States with my son. It's my U. S. Model 1913 Cavalry Sword - AKA Patton Sabre. It is in excellent condition, as is the original scabbard. It was manufactured in the first year of production, 1913 and is one of the 200 swords made that year and has a very low serial number. Yes, I likes it. !!

Actually, I have no beef with natural hamon Actually, I do. As a matter of fact, I'm going to have a beef steak with my hamon eggs tomorrow at breakfast. Sorry Rick, I just can't control myself sometimes.
