Wow. Very good find. Nice to get a close up and talk through on the swords. I enjoyed her follow up video showcasing the Sutton Hoo Sword. I really hope they do more sword videos. Thanks for pointing these out!

The British Museum is well worth visiting. Unmissable actually if you're in London.
I wish I knew how to post a pic. The wife and I took a few in there. The Sutton Hoo Sword was one.

The British Museum is well worth visiting. Unmissable actually if you're in London. I wish I knew how to post a pic. The wife and I took a few in there. The Sutton Hoo Sword was one. After logging in and getting the thread you want click the red “Reply” button in the upper right corner. Type your message and place the cursor where you wish to place your photo(s). Then click the “Add Attachment” button in the upper right. A new menu will appear and on the left side click “Add files”. Go to the photo in your files that you wish to post and highlight it then click the “Open” button found in the lower right. When the up load is complete the horizontal bar will turn green and two buttons “Insert” and “Delete” will appear, click your choice. The size of your attachment(s) will be limited to 1 MB. If greater reduce the size of the file or use a third party’s site such as Imgur, Photobucket, Flickr, etc. and transfer from there. I’d like to see the photos from the museum as I have not nor will be able to go there in person.

I should have got a better one of the pommel of the Sutton Hoo sword, but my camera died and the wife was taking the pics on her phone. I've got plenty more from the British museum and other museums we visited on our Europe trip last year but I'm finding it hard to get them downsized to attach. I'll have another try in a couple of days when I get a chance. Maybe even start a specific thread.

I used an old MS program called Paint for my old photos that were too large before I discovered an email setting on my present camera. Here is a program I have no experience with but was suggested if I’m not mistaken by a fellow forum member. www.onthegosoft.com/shrink_pic.htm You can use a third party such as one suggested in my original post. Thanks for the sent photos. They are clearer than I expected using a phone.
