I bought this sword recently. The blade is 34.5 inches. It has a serial number on the spine of the blade 1246. It has a makers mark to T Humphreys of London and a proof mark on the other side. Looks very similar to a Wilkinson proof mark. King George Cypher etched to both sides of the blade and on the decorative bowl guard.
Not sure how to attach pics to here but if anyone recognised the maker it would be a good start.
Cheers Max

For posting photos; in the upper right corner of your post there is a red button with the word “Reply” in white letters. Click that. In the upper right corner of the next screen you will see a gray button with the words “Add Attachment”. Click that. On that screen in the upper left corner of the rectangular box you will see in white “Add Attachment” below that a gray button with black letters “Add files...”. Click and then find the file you want posted. You should be able to take it from there. The maximum size of your attachment(s) is limited to 1 MB. If greater, reduce in size or use some third party to post your photo such as Flickr or Photobuckt.

Note that the option to upload attachments only appears in desktop mode! If you're on a mobile device you'll have to scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the "Desktop" link at bottom right to get there.
Also, welcome aboard!

Congratulations on your genuine P1912! Thank you I was hoping it was genuine but I couldn’t find the makers name anywhere.

T. Humphreys would have been a retailer and not a maker—a military outfitter/tailor.
