Looking to get a new tactical /overbuilt sword. Have a ZT and love it but really like some of the offerings from Scorpion Swords and Sabersmith. Wondering if any of you had any experience with the latter 2? Thanks for your input!

Sabersmith swords are sharp crowbar; Holger bought the "Scimitar" from Skallagrim and sold it right way again. We never had something from Scorpion Swords, though... But here are a lot of ZT swords, and especially the newer ones have a very good handling, even for me, and are much lighter than their older models (Apokatana III, Deuce III). The "Diphos" even has quite some distal taper and is the best handling sword from them.

I'm not saying that Scorpion Swords is just plasma cutting blades out of plate steel and putting the bare minimum of grind work into refining them... ... ... ... ... ...because they might be using a waterjet instead.

Thanks guys. Pretty much what I thought from looking at the pics and reviews but I've never had the opportunity to handle a sabersmith or scorpion. I've been happy with my apokatana. Looks like I'll be adding to the zt collection.
