I did not know Adrian well, I wish I did. Our exchanges always gave me the impression that he was a good person with a great sense of humor. In the last day I have been able to read the ways he connected with people and impacted their lives. I hope the best of him stays in the front of everyone's mind.

Horrible to hear he was a amazing man and a true pillar of this community. Had a lot of fun chatting and discussing with him over the years. He was one that was always focused on learning and even before he joined the moderator team was always on the beginners board, sharing his knowledge. Offering his special blend of kindness and understanding to all the new members, and having that special kind of patience to answer the same question over and over and over again lol.
He was a great moderator too. Going out of his way to make the forum as friendly and accessible as its been known for. From his holiday giveaways to his way of quelling heated arguments with humor and respect. We both joined around the same time and I always felt a special kinship with Adrian due to that and us being the same age. Very sad to hear this, he was a great guy.

I was not aware of the extent of his illness. That is so sad. His loved ones have my sincerest condolences. He lives in our memories. |

I did not have any direct correspondence with Adrian. But from reading countless threads he always struck me as a pleasant and caring individual. Now reading the last 3 pages of his personal connections with numerous members here - it's obvious the sword community has lost someone special. My condolences  |

Wow! So sorry to hear this. I'm not around as much anymore and was surprised. Condolences to his family. Nice to name the cafe after him.
