Welcome to the forum. These are three Cavalry Officers swords. The one with the three side bars is Heavy Cavalry, the other two are Light Cavalry. All are late models, from after 1872 I'd say. Looking at the image to the right you get: top: 3 side bar HC Officers. Probably the last model of the AN XIII line via the M1854, which was still a functional sword to this one here, which is more kinda like a dress sword. (Just like the other two) No 2: LC from after 1872 at least. No 3: The most recent LC. After 1882 at least. Notice how the two side bars join early compared to the one above (No 2). Another thing is that after 1882 some Officers sabres/swords show up with reddish or copper coloured hilts. No 3 is a private order for sure, if there is no trace of an etch on the spine, nor stamps on the blade. I cannot see the blades. If the two 2 side bar swords also have a double fullered blade than they may be Superior Officer swords. The picture doesn't enlarge. We need to see the stamps on the blades too, if there are any. Image stolen from this site: klingenthal.chez.com/presentation_marquages.htmIf you're interested in French sabres and swords you'll need this site very much. Together with the book ,, Les Sabres'' by l'Hoste you'll have a sound basis to delve deeper into the French sabre/sword universe. Hope this helps a bit. Cheers.

Thank you for the information.I had a hunch they are cavalery but the blades are very flexible and i was almost sure they are for parade. Most of my colection consist of french swords.i dont know much about some of them but i will ask for more information later on. I started my colection 2 years ago so i am a beginner. Thank you again for the information.

Appear to all be officer private contract swords. The HC (4bar) has an 1880 regulation blade. (1882 the HC got a 3 bar hilt) The two LCs are 1883 type blades. Production anywhere between 1883-1896. Can't read the info on the blades. Guess I should turn them right side up.
This period the major powers retained huge armies. Sword makers did great business providing custom made officer jewelry. These appear to be in pretty good condition although post Franco Prussian War the return value is rather low.
Cheers
