Been awhile since I was last in these forums! Here's some new things I've been working on as of very recently.
Since the grip off my VA Savoy has started to peel, I decided in the end to completely strip off the crumbling thin black leather and bought in some Oxblood leather of 1.1mm thickness and rewrapped it with some new risers. result came out far nicer than expected and doing the same thing with a pair of HT Longsword blades which are currently WIP. The HT LS blades have parts from The Printed Armoury on the way, so should be done within the week!

Nice work! I’d like to try that myself someday on my hex nut Hanwei grips. The PA fitings look great too.

Nice work! I’d like to try that myself someday on my hex nut Hanwei grips. The PA fitings look great too. The Reislaufer looks and feels amazing, but you'd need to drill a 8.9mm hole to put the hex-nut in, about 20mm deep. Then you'd need to widen the crossguard to about 25mm in width so the tang will fit through. the Viscount set, fits perfectly straight off the bat!

Neat work! I'm curious, how do you do the seam? I don't think it's visible in any of the photos (unless it's just that good ).

Neat work! I'm curious, how do you do the seam? I don't think it's visible in any of the photos (unless it's just that good :D ). Epoxy and ALOT of steady hand coordination, basically just need to bind it properly with string after letting it soak in water for 30 seconds (the leather)
