I just purchased my first sword. I was told it is a European sword from the 1800's. Any chance anyone would know when and where it is from?
Thanks!

Maybe! Post some photos and we'll see.
You have to be a registered member and use the desktop mode to add attachments, no larger than 1mb per file, or you can just drop 'em on Imgur or ImgBB and post a link or embed here. Shoot at least one full view, one close-up of the whole hilt, another of any possible distinguishing features on the blade, and close-ups of all visible markings; more never hurts. Use full, direct daylight if possible to decrease noise and blurring.

Cheepers, another one of those; I bought a sword and have no specifications, photos, nor any markings to present. What did I buy? One moment while I find my crystal ball.
