So I was thinking that I would put this blade up for sale for a month and if no one bought it that I would then mount it and then try to sell it. With that said I might consider offers close to my asking price but it would have to be really close. If the blade doesn't sell by the end of the month I will be taking it down and then mounting the blade and then putting it back up for sale for close to 8k. Depending on what fittings I am able to get for it.

First and only price drop before I mount it. Will take 5500 for it for the next week or so. After that I'll be mounting the blade and selling it for more.

So after thinking about it I'v decided to lower the price once more until next Friday. Going do to 5k even. So you'll be getting the blade with a free polish.

Great price for the original true L6 banite katana by Howard Clark. If I did t have one already I would be grieving this some real consideration. OP.. this isn't just an L6 steel katana, it has been heat treated by Howard Clark to get the banite molecular structure in the steel.

There are many microstructures of steel such as pearlite, ferrite, cementite, martensite, and others which is a combination of each previously mentioned. What make Howard’s L6 bainite so special is because the blade has two different type of microstructure . The hardened edge is martensite and the body is made of bainite.

Not sure if you received my first message, I'm wondering if your Howard Clark L6 Bainite katana is still available? Thank you for your time.
