NO NOT ME, I wish. It's been 19 years since Lord Of The Rings first came out. It's still my favorite fantasy movie maybe favorite period. The actors who played Froto, Sam, Pippin and Merry are all in their 40's and 50's now but are still very close friends. Froto is the baby at 39 but looks 19 and the reason is after the filming was over Elijah said on a couple talk shows, he kept the ring. Besides the two Conan swords The LOTR swords are the only fantasy swords I've bought.

Well he is 61 years old. Somehow I think a sequel with the original cast is out of the question. What an experience that must have been spending 16 months filming in New Zealand.

The original (extended edition) LOTR trilogy is as near to perfect as film can get. It's also the rare case in fantasy where the movie is better than the books. š®

There's times I think he was just playing himself in the movie.

I sat through The Two Towers a couple weeks ago, and...woof.
The digital and makeup effects don't hold up well under the scrutiny of a 4K OLED TV.
Also, some of the performances were pretty uneven.
I own the extended editions on DVD, but I don't think I'll probably be watching them again. It's better to keep the nostalgia filters of my memories in place, undisturbed by unflattering realities.
I always preferred the BBC Radio full-cast audio drama version (with Ian Holm as Frodo) anyway, and the digital effects of my imagination have yet to become outmoded.

Omg. I thought that was one of the hobbits until I did expand the picture. He has not aged that well. Not that I can say I have either. But he is a great actor, imho.

Depends on if you're talking the old Bilbo in the LOTR or the young Bilbo in the Hobbits I guess.

We own the old DVD extended edition. But then, we also still own our old 1080p 50'' plasma tv, so its fine.

Ya Vigo has not aged the best, billy Boyd has one of the best voices in the world though. Can we all agree that Christopher Lee was one of the best actors in Lotr?

Sir Christopher Lee was the best thing about most things he was in.
And what a voice!
