Why? The thing looks idiotically dangerous. You trying for a "SirThorfinn needs your prayers" thread?

Yeah but how long will it take you to learn how to hammer nails with it ?

Brilliant. This made me actually lol.
I suspect hammering nails will be easier than pulling them. 🙂

Cool, you probably won't hit your own thumb with it.

"Can I borrow a hammer?" "Sure." Hand it over, take a step back, and enjoy.

I wouldn't touch that with a 10' pole, with a virgin at the end. No way.

Yes yes...this picture really needed sharing, since I'm sure we each have something equally as dangerous and silly. And for the record, I wouldn't feel safe holding that, let alone using it... But pulling nails? Brilliant!

The only thing I've seen that's more stupid and dangerous than this is my RitterSteel Authentics Spiked Flail. Holy crap.

Just a question. Aren’t flails and morning stars(I think that’s the right term) suppose to have short chains so the ‘business end’ doesn’t hit you in the hand. I haven’t really studied them. Unless you count playing D&D 40 some years ago in college. Haha. Just wondering. And not trying to derail the thread. Thanks

Are they all pole and ball? I don’t rly know

Seems for the most part they are fake with a few rare exceptions.

Seems for the most part they are fake with a few rare exceptions. I suspect that the inspiration for things like this was the sling, but you loose a sling bullet. I'm sure somebody tried it, got buried, and that was that. Like some similar Chinese and Japanese ideas for weapons swung on ropes to exploit centripetal force, it's a concept that looks "cool", but didn't cut it on the battlefield.
