LMAO.. what a moron. Probably no one here as he doesn't actually own the sword and needs to have one made for the event. All of our wing nuts already own their weapons. Gets the award for best excuse ever for a continuance....

Really he'd need to get in a waist-deep hole and put a rock in a sock. Then she'd get a club. I'm not sure he'd be too keen at that point.

I would say his next battle will be keeping himself out of a rubber room. No katana is going to prevent that from happening.

With such mentality that might explain the ex-wife and lawyer, not to mention lawyer's fee(s).

I don't know, maybe. I like the way he thinks. If we did more trial by combat, then we would have fewer frivolous court cases.

A good point, well taken. However, I’m not about to be that man’s ex’s champion.

But what is justice? Can anybody explain that to me? I haven't seen much to convince me that trial by combat is any less "just" than a government court system. Personally, I would rather take my chances in the arena than in a court room. At least in the arena, what is settled, is settled- one and done and the gods have spoken.

"Hudson asked the court to suspend Ostrom's visitation rights and order him to undergo a court-ordered psychological evaluation"
An obvious outcome

I mean, if I scam a disabled person out of their social security checks, then request a trial by combat, I could probably end the trial in my favor. Hardly justice.

I have considered it at great length. I have no faith in the "justice system". I would rather have it settled in the arena- if I were given the opportunity.
and for the handicapped person- they can choose a champion. That is the way it's always been. I think that is a just and fair way of approaching the issue. Instead of hiring a lawyer, they hire a fighter. Same result.

You haven't answered the question: What is justice? I hear everybody wanting it, but I have yet to hear anybody give a clear definition of what exactly it is. Is justice a concept, a tangible and measurable standard, or???
