I'm thinking this is Argentinian but I'm not positive. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome aboard
I would think an Argentine military sword would bear an Argentine crest but I am far from all knowing regarding the matter.
I am also interested if anyone knows the Toledo maker by name, as the same "Lady of the lake" (sword in hand rising from the water) mark appears on some late 20th century Oscar Kolombatovich reproduction swords. As he was the armourer and fight director for both opera and film, I suppose this might have been a prop.
The scabbard frog may have been an addition. Is the grip metal? If so, does a magnet stick?

Indeed.
I am very curious as to the maker's name.
