Years ago windlass did this strange sci-fi thing that seemed to be vaguely star wars based. They had costumes and some weapons but I am looking to see if anyone has any information on a set that they did that was a matched gladius and katana? I can't seem to find any information anywhere.

Dude I remember this. As a young lady it looked amazing but I could afford none of it.
I think it was called like the imperium gladius?
And they had a DOUBLE EDGED Katana along with uniforms and stuff that looked vaguely star wars empire esq.
So a week or two ago one of those imperiun gladius were on eBay mate. Just keep checking odds and ends turn up there.
I still hold out hope for a windlass pathfinder fantasy Viking and icingdeath and twinkle!

I have the old catalogs with those in them. Not really readily available, but they are packed away, and I do remember them. The costumes, imo, weren't even vaguely Star Wars. They were pretty obvious, at least as far as the "Jedi" garments went. Interestingly enough, MRL soon after got a Star Wars license, and made official stuff. It was all supposed to have been taken straight from movie props as far as measurements, materials, etc goes. |

I had forgotten that the katana was double edged! I just loved the idea of a matched gladius and katana. sort of the best of both designs. I remember that several years ago they were selling the short sword as a blow out warehouse find but they went too fast for me to get one. Any photos anyone has would be appreciated.
