Kingdom of Heaven sword of Reginald?

If you indeed have the officially licensed sword made by Windlass, then it is somewhat rare. In the sense that they only made these while the license was still in existence. The license did eventually run out, and none of those movie swords were made again. Windlass did seem to try to use unsold stock, and change a pommel or some other aspect so that they essentially had a new sword they could sell.

In any case, that license has been expired and those swords no longer made for probably a good 15 years or so. You do occasionally find a used Kingdom of Heaven sword on the second-hand market. The prices usually vary from retail to way over-priced.

I think this line suffers from a few things. One is that almost none of the "hero" swords were seen all that much on screen. The only exception was Balian's sword. Two, is that, imo, half of them are pretty ugly. Taste is subjective, so, maybe its only me. However, I really think the swords of Saladin, Odo, and Reynault are not at all easy on the eyes (in order from ugliest on in). Third, is that the movie itself was awful; a preachy, anachronistic, ahistorical sham.

The important thing, though, is if you like the sword or not. I hope you do, and are a happy owner now. If possible, can you post pictures? There are fakes out there, so it might help us verify for sure if this is the real licensed sword.
