I want a sword that is just like this protoss logo,, except that where the dot or energy ball is, there is a handle the handle would be parallel to the straight section,, so occupy the hole by closing it. I probably want it to be bronze. also, the blade would not have the decorative lines interrupting the axe-blade, instead it would just be a smooth blade.   |

Honestly, since you mention it, this could probably work quite well as an axe blade. Just put in a socket for the haft instead of the grip. And of course the haft should be curved to match the aesthetics of the blade...

I could see this design being used as a crossguard. Or rather one half of a crossguard. The same shape could be mirrored on the other side.
Another idea I had is to have this shape built in at the base of your blade where it meets the hilt. Possibly on just one side of the blade making it asymmetrical. I think that could look pretty cool.

TBH, this looks like something Scorpion Swords and Knives would be able to do at a reasonable price. Their specialty is plasma cutting shapes out of steel plate stock and putting sharp edges on it. Hand forging a complex shape like this would be pretty time consuming, and thus expensive.
