Thank you all for the input. I've already bought the Windlass Christus Imperat rapier as I find it a very elegant looking sword.
But as i'm still hungry for a more medieval blade, i've sent an enquiry to Del tin for the 2135, as I think it looks very good. The Legacy Arms Brookhart teutonic war sword is another alternative i've stumbled across,

Hi, Any sword really over $300 (that is "battle ready" and generally speaking) can take the beating, its not going to be an albion but there not garbage. And Del tins generally are not bad swords, there more just budget, but can take it. In case you aren't be sure to use kult of athena to find your sword, they have nearly everything that is not custom. And windlass is pretty decent from what I hear. But you can always buy whatever sword you like and etch in a cross if that's what you like. At that range I personally would go valiant armory but that's just me.
