But anyways back to the sword. That's suppose to be a eagle pommel ? Looks more like a duck to me.  Maybe a cormorant? That’s what I thought, too.  |

Yup. Almost always it's the axe in use. IIRC, it's just once it isn't the axe: a spear.

All the Death Dealer stuff is cool, but the axe takes it all. Nothing says -"I keel you!"- like a few pounds of sharpened steel on the end of a stick.  I got to hold the axe at MRL a couple of years ago. 10 POUNDS! Very heavy and the shaft was huge, meaning very big circumference. I’m 6’2” with long hands and fingers couldn’t reach around it completely. Not even close. Of course I’m no Death Dealer. Haha |

I ordered a Windlass Death Dealer Sword today for 155 Eurons shipped and the store says already sharpened.
Have to play with my Atlantean a bit to be prepared.
Valyrian Steel offers a new Heron Mark Sword (stainless steel), afaik from the series btw...

I like the subdued brass. And the grip appears fat even before the second photo with you gripping it. A 4 lb. one hander, obviously designed for a real man in mind. Grip Banding this one?
