I'm not sure what the problem is here. OP said he knows real swords are not like what he described, and he's checking to see if we know where he can find a sword-shaped wrecker bar. Maybe he wants to use it as an indian exercise club or to dig for buried treasure. Who cares?

A sword shaped wrecking bar would be a neat way to destroy stuff if one was bored enough

A sword shaped wrecking bar would be a neat way to destroy stuff if one was bored enough I'm fairly sure Mike Craughwell has made at least two of those for that exact purpose.

Might as well add, this could also be a humorous post, which is only trolling if it bothers you for some reason

You would have to have it custom made, and I can't imagine it would be too challenging for a smith that has a forge or kiln that can heat the whole thing equally for its heat treat. It would probably have to be forged out of barstock, because a piece of bar thick enough to grind it out would be really expensive and would make it a ton of work. I would want it forged if at all possible. and it doesn't have to be nicely finished, I would prefer a bit of a rougher finish for fashion. I would want the blade to have about the same sharpness as a cold-chisel,,, (I think the word is blade-geometry),,, not very sharp, but still technically a blade.

I think more than anything, it'd be like a cross between a giant utility chisel and a bar mace.

I think more than anything, it'd be like a chisel-tipped bar mace. yup. THis is very nice. I think a bit more metal with the same blade shape as a cold-chisel

yup. THis is very nice. I think a bit more metal with the same blade shape as a cold-chisel I get ya! Very nearly like the Chinese "iron ruler" but with a rock chisel tip, right? That might actually be a perfectly useful tool. PS. Actually, I think hollow grinding like in the first one I posted would be a very good idea, to keep the weight manageable (plus it looks cool). Or maybe make it octagonal until the very tip, like most chisel stalks. Or both!
