why not , it's not going to get any cheaper as time progress. a couple of my buddies have them and they're worth the money.

It looks awesome to me. If I had the disposable income I'd snag one, but that's a lot of cash so I don't want to say to do it if you're on the fence. But I would, hahaha.

I just bought this a few days ago. Curious if you did too which would mean one of us isn't getting what is pictured.

Well, they usually make a certain number of these at a time, so it's actually possible that neither of you get the exact one in the picture, hahaha.

I would if I could. Any sword maker is more likely to have fewer things wrong with the top end stuff, than the budget stuff. RinC

I've heard mostly good from people so I'm curious to see how it pans out.

I have this katana. It is well made but to be honest, aesthetically this blade is not my thing. Overall it’s too short for my tastes. The blade is quite wide and beefy. There’s almost no distal taper. The hamon is interesting to look at although the overall polish is not on the level of Kaneie or Huanuo, so it’s hard to make out the grain of the steel. Haven’t cut with it so don’t know how it performs as a cutter. I have the version with black saya and blue silk ito. The tsuka has a nice Rikko shape.

Look how unwieldy and over built that thing is. Probably get around 3 swings before my shoulders and back burn out.
