Hello all! I came across 2 Bayonets on my last “Hunt”. I know what they are, but I don’t understand any of the markings at all. One is your typical K98 Mauser Bayonet, the other one however I am a little more excited about, it is a British 1907, made by Wilkinson, with quite a few markings on it. This is my very first Wilkinson piece and am very excited!! If anyone could take the time to help me identify the markings, what they mean, and also just a brief and honest opinion on the overall quality of the Bayonets I would be most grateful. And sure to message a Moderator or whomever is higher up that you were so helpful 👍. Thank you so much again. - C. Joseph Stewart

The other one isn't a K98 bayonet.

Thanks for the help guys! Tensho, what is the other bayonet I mistook for a Mauser Bayonet?

It's a Mauser Bayonet. Just not for a German K98. They stopped putting a muzzle ring on them sometime around the 1880s/90s?
To many countries made Mausers for me to give a 100% I.D on.
