Up for sale is this Baulaur Arms Italian longsword. This sword is basically an inexpensive Brescia Spadona and the balance on this sword is incredible. It's like the blade isn't even there (but in the best way).
I had the blade sharpened down to the last quarter so it can comfortably rest on the shoulder or be gripped for halfswording practice.
It's quite sharp, but you can see why it's a 2nd quality sword when you look down the blade. It's a little uneven and just ever so slightly warped in the last 5'' of the blade. I also aged the hilt furniture slightly as I wasn't fond of the original finish.
This would make an amazing practice sword for a backyard cutter, OR if you were curious about Balaur, here's your chance to get one less the sharpening fee (and you can see exactly what you're getting).
