Hi, has anyone had any dealings with, or any knowledge of, special replicas? They seem to be a polish company, and they have nice looking polish sabres, but I can't find any information about them.

I know nothing of that company. But FWIW Norton anti-virus refuses to acknowledge the safety of their site. It doesn't the site is bad, only questionable. I stopped there.

Looks like they resell Indian made products at a premium.

Not only do they sell Windlass and Universal, the regular catalogue of any sword shop, these Polish sabres often have stainless blades not to be used for anything other but display. Most of these one finds on Ebay. There seems to be a huge market of Polish expats who want some souvenir from back home. There are sources for Polish sabres with good quality blades though. I think old Outfit4events had them. Also polishhussarsupply.com/Sabers.html is a good source. As is translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&eotf=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.miecze.com.pl%2Fsklep%2F&act=urlGo into the side bar. You'll find much nice stuff there. I have links to Polish Hussar sites and more. I need to clean up my bookmarks..... Haven't seen this stuff in years.... If you search Google Images with ,, miecze'' (sword) as keyword, I am sure you'll find more Polish sites. Paste the url in Google Translate to translate Polish sites into the language of your choice. Like I did with the third link.
