It isn't so much highland, but Col. Tomas Hoyer Monstery has some quarterstaff and cane (amongst boxing and wrestling) in his book "Self Defence for Gentlemen and Ladies".

It wouldn't be a bad thing to check out. I been meaning to create my own Scottish walking stick, but my own rendition that's easier to recreate and just as easy to disguise

What books would you guys recommend on Highland martial arts? I am looking for actual paper books not digital copies. Thank you. So far ive ordered: The Expert Sword-Man's companion - Donald McBane (Jared Kirby) Lessons of the Broadsword Masters - Christopher Scott Thompson Scottish Broadsword and British Singlestick - Keith Farrell Is there anything with a decent amount of pics? I have not recieved these books yet im just trying to build a good base of reading material at this point. Bit late here but what about Highland Broadsword by Paul Wagner and Mark Rector? It's regimental broadsword stuff so might not be what you're after.
