thanks, not bad! although a little too short of blade for me...if it were only at least 18 inch blade, then maybe. wow! is the grip made of real bone?

I really gotta mark that sword as sold.
It's a good sword I would reccomend it easily as new from windlass.

Whoops, my bad. I'd go with the Devil's Edge sword then. It's a great bargain.

Thanks! not bad either! Steel is 1065.. good enough for me! not quite enough of a leaf blade as a wanted.. seems more like Gladius blade.. but will keep it in mind!

Skall did a nice review of it. He abused the sword a bit much, as per usual, but he did push the forge to make some improvements. I am not sure if this video features the update, but they did address the temper issue.

I am happy with my shorter version of this sword. Full disclosure though, I sent the first one KoA sent me back because the blade was slightly warped. These are good swords for the price, but they will have a couple quirks about them.

Well, that video is three years old. They did address many of the concerns he had in the video. I'm just sharing it with you to be as honest as possible.

TFW or BCI, both Filipino made blades, are excellent. I highly recommend them.

I'd like to see a cheap leaf blade with good ancient-style blade geometry. The leaf blades out there are usually much closer to the 19th century cabbage-cutter artillery swords than ancient swords. Not a good thing, since IMO the cabbage-cutter very much deserves its poor reputation.

Rogue steel is a stage/screen weapon producer, strongblade basically lower production windlass.
