At a foible of 4.7 mm thick you will not get a nice handling sword.
The best spadroon replica on the market I think is the windlass 1840.

That would depend on what your intensions are. It should make a beautiful show piece, if you intend to use it may be not so good. I have the P1796 Sergeant’s sword with almost the same actual statistics they are listing for that spadroon. I find the EN9 a bit soft to hold a good edge. The PoB is slightly shorter and weight slightly lighter, at 63/8” and 2.09 lbs, than they are listing for that one and find it too blade heavy to handle as a spadroon should. It will out penetrate my other swords on the thrust. My P1796 is most pleasing to my eyes but not my hand. I find it best left on the wall and admired. Windlass’ M1840 models, the standard or Ames, will handle much better. About as much difference as between night and day. Universal finishes their swords better than Windlass.

Thanks guys, I was really hoping to find a nice one with a little wider blade like the Universal one, I just think the Windlass is too thin for my tastes :(
