Hello all,
I've been making some of my own knives for a little bit now. But I'm moving for my job, and I'll be living in an apartment. Which... really doesn't give me the option of making my own knives from scratch anymore. So, I'm trying to figure out how to keep making my own knives. And I think the first place to start is getting blade blanks. I've looked around a bit, and I haven't found many quality options.
So two things;
#1; If you know of a place to get quality blade blanks, please tell me! I would appreciate it so much.
#2; Would anyone be willing to create some blade blanks for me?
Thanks!

First thing that comes to mind is Atlanta Cutlery. Had a cousin that ordered blanks from them and would put them in deer antler after he carved stuff(animal faces and other things) into the button. I’m sure others can give you other sources. Good luck and good luck with move and job. Post pictures. We enjoy knife porn almost as much as sword porn. 😎

I believe Crazy Crow Trading Post and Texas Knifemaker's Supply both have blade blanks, as well as a ton of other stuff. Sorry, no links, but I'm in a bit of a hurry right now. Just do a Google search...they're there. Really reasonable prices too.

Thank you guys! Yeah, I've had a bit of luck looking at those. But Most of them aren't really up to my standards... Any custom makers out there willing to make me some bare blades? Thanks

So....what kind of blades? Or, what style, I should ask. Bowie? Hunting-style? Dagger? I've been known to make a blade from time to time, but it takes me forever. My equipment sucks, and right now it's too damn hot to be in my tin-roof shop. .......

L Driggers on the forum here has made blades for people to finish in the past. Not sure what his current wait time is.
