I don't have a yard but I'd like to figure out a sort of pell set up I could do. Ideally, something I could disassemble and store in a closet when not in use.
Any ideas?

I have a hook mounted on my ceiling that I can hang different bags from. Also a pell, if one wants to. Wooden logs can be covered with a fitness mat to cushion, for example, and/or fabrics.

My most used bag is a pear-shaped punching bag filled with corn, approx. 5 to 6 kg. Textiles and duct tape wrapped around that. Works well with wood and blunts.

Instead of using fitness mats and duct tape, buy a moving blanket from Harbor Freight. Cut and sew it to make a sheath to cover your heavy bag. It will last longer and look a lot better than duct tape. Some of the blankets are multi colored so you can make them look like a quartered tabard if you like.
