Still, it does look vaguely ridiculous. Man poised in fighting stance, lunges with sword, drags up... a fish? His other video where he uses a fish spear makes more sense. (Disclosure, also grew up on a farm, decades of hunting experience. Was taught from the start, you eat what you kill. And it's your responsibility as a hunter to make the kill quickly, cleanly, and the prey does not suffer.) This really. The problem isn't hunting, the problem is unnecessary, disrespectful, and gratuitous hunting to market their company.

It didn't necessarily make me want to buy one, but I'm sure some survivalist type will see that and pick one up for tool and now fish hunting use. Personally I would have liked to see it done with a smallsword or rapier, they're sort of spear like swords.

While the discussion regarding the pros and cons of the various types of hunting is worthwhile, necessary even, it is not the focus of this thread. Also, I do very much understand that DSA and CS are polarizing topics, but lets not get dragged too far down the very familiar hole of losing sight of the original purpose of the thread and focusing on the negative aspects only and potential quarreling. Thanks.

My apologies.
I'd be curious to see if the DSA production from this point on holds its own, though I will say for reasons stated in other threads I don't see myself buying one.

I hope DSA has changed for the better but I've heard of changes before. I will take the set back and watch attitude.
